A calm façade to others,
With a broiling red underneath.
I speak slowly, carefully,
Trying to keep the energy from my voice.
Do I care? No.
But really I do.
Truly, I feel more than you can believe.
Honestly, the haze behind my eyes would blind you.
But for me, right now,
I can control it.
The anger shall never seep into my voice,
My body shall never shake with rage,
My eyes shall never blaze,
For I, my friend, am a professional.
